We currently have an opportunity for an additional Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing Human Resources Team.
About this Role
As our Human Resources Business Partner, you will work in partnership with managers and employees across our organisation to work towards achieving best practice human resource outcomes.
You will provide assistance and direction on a diverse range of Human Resources issues, develop and coach new and existing managers in fundamental practices and procedures and actively promote a positive consultative Human Resources style.
About You
For this position we are seeking a team player that is passionate about adding value and promoting a high performing culture where all employees can enjoy their work. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and develop close working relationships with a range of stakeholders across all levels.
You will also have:
· Degree or diploma in Human Resources or similar field with several years’ experience within Local Government or a similar dynamic large organisation.
· Demonstrated experience in providing solutions focused service to customers.
· Knowledge and understanding of concepts and major issues emerging within Local Government.
· Ability to undertake workplace investigations in relation to a range of areas such as employee complaints, disputes and grievances.
· Provide advice, research and guidance on the negotiation, implementation and maintenance of Latrobe City Council’s Enterprise Agreement and other applicable agreements.
