Human Resources Coordinator

Makmur Enterprises Pty Ltd is a market leader which produces and imports a wide range of food products that cater for both retailer and foodservice channels. Makmur Enterprises Pty Ltd is a family company, that boasts a multi-cultural workforce based in Richmond.

An opportunity has been created for a Human Resources to join a growing team. This position is responsible and assist in creating a productive work environment by designing, implementing and monitoring organisation’s employee development processes, programs and policies. The role will also be to strengthen the Company’s Values and culture throughout all levels of the company.

Key responsibilities for this position are:

• Assisting with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts
• Organising employees’ performance evaluation quarterly for all key team members in accordance to Department KPI
• Supporting internal inquiries/matters related to HR between departments, staff and Management
• Maintaining the company’s structure and key responsibilities of staff to prevent any grey areas amongst teams and staff members
• Supporting HR-related training programs / induction - to provide clear roles and responsibilities for all the team
• Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities for the Board Report
• Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
• Develop and implement HR stategies and iniatives in line with overall company values and strategies

You will bring relationship-building, leadership and analytical/critical thinking into the organisation. This will be a dynamic role with exciting projects happening at the same time.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

• Experience in HR for 5 years or more
• Degree in relevant Human Resources field
• Knowledge and Experience in HR systems and laws
• Active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of our company
