About the role
This is a pivotal role in which you will be working directly with small to medium businesses across a diverse range of industries.
As you work with business owners to understand their unique employment relations landscape, your goal is to continue to support them through implementing a tailored approach to ER.
What will your day look like?
With over 30,000 unique clients relying on your knowledge, no two days will be the same. However, typical responsibilities include:
- Support clients via telephone and email to review, create and implement documentation in relation to their day-to-day workplace relations enquiries.
- Creation of applicable documents which can include contracts, policies, manuals, handbooks and procedures.
- Making complicated legislation beautifully simple, clearly explaining workplace regulations and providing practical recommendations about what clients should do to protect their business.
- ‘Delighting and delivering’ by meeting individual and team targets for customer satisfaction, productivity and quality assurance.
The perfect fit for this role will have:
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role with exposure to Employment Relations.
- A strong understanding and working knowledge of the Modern Awards system, National Employment Standards, and other employer-related legislation.
- Prior experience creating, implementing and advising on HR documentation such as contracts, policies and procedures.
- A “Can DO” attitude, strong attention to detail and an ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life.
- Formal qualifications in HR, IR or Law are also highly regarded.
