The Boyds Bay Group is a leading commercial landscape construction, environmental management and production horticulture group of companies that work with Teir 1 and 2 civil and building companies, land developers, all levels of government and project builders across New South Wales and Queensland. We have an opportunity available for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This position is full-time and offers an attractive salary package.
Your duties will include:
- Being first point of contact for all HR/IR inquiries from both internal and external stakeholder
- Be responsible for recruitment, performance management, performance reviews and workforce planning
- On boarding of new employees
- Fulfilling compliance and legislative obligations including Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Updating and maintaining employment records including personnel files and databases
- Supporting the Workplace Health and Safety officer for HR safety compliance
- Support the Payroll team
- Strengthening company culture and employee experience
- Using data to influence decisions
- Manage employee relations and policies and updates
- Support for Management team
Your demonstrated competencies will include:
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience – building and construction industry experience preferred
- Relevant qualifications for the role
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in Xero, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in Employment Hero and Procore an advantage
