Human Resources Manager

An HR Manager role for a company within a blue-collar industry, paying up to $170k base

You will be joining a company within a blue-collar industry.

Your new role 

As a HR Manager you will be working in a standalone capacity and looking after all the aspects within HR, including: 

• Implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the company's vision and values
• Managing the full cycle of recruitment, from sourcing to hiring, for various positions across the company
• Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR issues, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and career development
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, such as health and safety, workers' compensation, and equal opportunity
• Coordinating and facilitating training and development programs for employees at all levels
• Preparing and analyzing HR reports and metrics, and recommending improvements as needed

What you'll need to succeed 

Your experience in a similar role will lead you to success, as well as:

• A tertiary degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a blue-collar sector
• Experience dealing with merge, acquisitions and organizational design and changes
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
• A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
