Alura Coaches is seeking an experieced Operations Assistant to oversee the daily Operations of our busy coach fleet, based in Caringbah and regularly working from our depot in Alexandria.
The Operations Assistant has the responsibility of managing customer enquiries, allocating coach work to drivers, monitoring and managing fleet condition, assisting in the management of drivers, managing Transport for NSW compliance and associated accreditation requirements, liaising with the Manager to ensure the efficient allocation of vehicles for Maintenace while considering maximizing vehicle utilisation and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
You must hold a minimum HR licence for this role, and experience with the Coach Manager operating system would be very highly regarded.
- Reporting directly to the Manager of Alura Coaches
- Handle after hours phone on a regular rotation with the other staff
- Manage driver enquiries and provide assistance when required
- Monitor driver performance and engage Manager where required
- Manage breakdowns and organise alternative arrangements to complete company obligations when necessary
- Completion of driver rosters
- Monitor all Tachograph records and follow up drivers where required
- Log and Process lost property
- Manage accreditation in regards to compliance
- Assist in the management of fleet HVIS inspections and scheduled service bookings
- Ensure our depot is a clean and safe workspace
- Oversee the presentation of the vehicle fleet in consultation with the Manager
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines governing coach operations
- Work within company budget guidelines
- Collect of wage records
