About the opportunityThe HR Partnering function is in a period of significant development, striving to achieve an integrated service offering aligned with the University’s ambitious workforce strategy and organisational design objectives. As a result, we are seeking a consultative HR Partner to support key clients and leaders within the university’s faculties and schools.As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic advice and direction, translate strategy into operational goals and shape how HR services are provided to clients. Developing a robust understanding of your client’s business, you will effectively address their HR needs and requirements. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- provide comprehensive advice based on a thorough understanding of the client group dynamics, addressing essential people management needs and challenges
- support the development of annual client plans and collaborate with the other HR COEs to implement required solutions, meeting the key current needs of the client portfolio
- engage with key stakeholders in the client portfolio to support the implementation of strategic transformation and change initiatives, and ensure the successful implementation and realisation of key outcomes
- provides subject matter-specific data analysis, insights, and reports in relation to the delivery of HR projects and solutions.
About you- proven generalist HR experience, preferably in a business partner or advisory role.
- proven experience in developing strong trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- experience interpreting and providing advice on enterprise agreements, awards and relevant policies.
- ability to work within a COE model in a large complex organisation coupled with a collaborative approach
- an agile solutions-orientated approach coupled with the ability to coach and empower leaders to make people decisions.
