About the role
A unique national role has opened for the position of Senior Trainer – Shotcrete. Putzmeister is globally recognised for quality concrete pumping equipment. With the Underground Technologies (UT) division taking a strong foothold in the Australian tunnelling and hard rock mining industry, an opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic mining team. Preferably based in Perth or Melbourne, we are looking for a self-motivated individual that will spearhead the implementation and ongoing training of our Wetkret sprayers and Mixkret agi’s into the Australian, New Zealand and PNG region.
This is a full-time position that will enable you to enter a global organisation on the ground floor with the intention to develop your future by building a training department and growing your own team.
Key Responsibilities within this role include:
- Commissioning and implementation of shotcrete sprayers into mining and tunnelling operations
- Training plant operators in the use and best practices of Putzmeister UT equipment – Primarily sprayers and agitators
- Developing training programs for the implementation and ongoing support of customers
- Maintain customer relationships with regular follow-up and assistance
- Communicating and providing feedback to senior site management
- Identifying and communicating additional sales or training opportunities
- Troubleshooting and assisting customers with machine operation and shotcrete spraying
- Developing and managing a training and commissioning team (as the business grows)
What you will bring to the role
- The successful applicant will be mature in nature, self-motivated and show initiative in planning
- Experience in Shotcrete spraying essential – those who are EFNARC trained will be highly regarded
- Capable of developing training & machine implementation plans
- The ability to identify problems, with exceptional troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to generate alternative solutions
- Demonstrated capacity to communicate at all levels within an organisation in a professional manner
- Hold a current Australian drivers’ licence and passport (or ability to obtain valid passport)
- Hold a current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Must be able to travel on a regular basis
