About the Role
Reporting to the People Manager and working as part of a newly formed People team, you will work across a broad HR/ER portfolio supporting teams located in multiple Australian-wide locations. You will work in partnership with operations managers and their teams, delivering responsive and practical ER advice and other proactive solutions to develop people leadership capability throughout our business. You will also be accountable for rolling out and embedding components of people related improvement projects.
A tenacious self-starter, you enjoy taking ownership, are solutions-focused and outcome orientated. You can prioritise and organise your time, have exceptional attention to detail and can frame and deliver effective communications. You have developed a reputation as a creative go-getter with great energy, and someone who can be relied upon to do what they say they will do and deliver.
You will have experience working in a Business Partner / advisory role in the blue-collar sector, a minimum of 6 years HR/ER post graduate experience and:
- Strong problem-solving orientation.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Industrial Legislation and the ability to interpret Awards and EA’s;
- Exceptional ability to juggle conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations;
- Accountability for delivering HR/ER services, initiatives and/or training;
- Financial acumen and comprehension of the impact of HR decisions on business performance and profitability.
Our HR/ER Business partner will work alongside like counterparts and be strongly supported by the People Manager (and the Head of Corporate Services). They will be visible amongst operations and nurture a performance-based culture where all individuals act like owners.
This position is based in our Corporate Office in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane QLD and some travel will be required in the role.
