The expansion of Ampcontrol services in Western Australia supports the new company vision to lead the global energy revolution. Ampcontrol is focused on diversifying and growing the business with a key focus on renewable energy manufacturing and supporting our customers in decarbonisation and mine site electrification.
Our strategic plans for growth and expansion means that we are now looking for an experienced and qualified HV Manager to lead and develop our brand-new WA HV Field Service team. Based in Kewdale, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, securing, and delivering high end HV Field Maintenance and Engineering services within Mining, Utilities, Renewables, and other key sectors throughout Ampcontrol's core markets.
This position will involve business development, technical services, quoting, and field service delivery work with a focus on HV Maintenance and Engineering offerings for electrical infrastructure and protection equipment.
Please note occasional travel to site will be a requirement of this role.
What We're Looking For:
In addition to your demonstrated capabilities in managing high priority projects and delivering strategic goals and objectives, you will have:
- Electrical trade qualifications.
- Electrical Engineering Diploma or Degree (Desirable).
- Technical competency with High Voltage equipment and Protection equipment.
- A commitment to safe work practices, holding safety as a core value.
- Familiar with most HV Switchgear used in heavy industry applications.
- Demonstrated experience in resolving problems, including fault finding.
- Experience with HV Maintenance practices used on heavy industry operations.
- The ability to multitask in stressful situations.
- Protection Testing / Commissioning experience within the Mining or Industrial sector.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
