We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Project Supervisor based out of Mackay.
You will be required to have:
- S1,2,3
- G2
- Standard 11
- LVR/CPR
- First Aid
- Coal Board Medical (Ability to Pass CB)
- QLD Electrical Licence
- Experience in the Procurement Process
- Experience in the Financial Process
- Experience in Resource Scheduling
- Experience in the Reporting Process
- Experience in the Project Controls
- Implement and Manage Project Documentation Process
- Implement and Manage the HSEQ Process
- Conduct Client/subcontractor site meetings and record minutes
- Cert IV Workplace Health & Safety
- Cert IV in Civil Supervision (Desirable)
Your Daily Responsibilities will include:
- * Designing and implementing work schedules for the project construction team.
- * Providing motivation and assistance when necessary
- * Inspecting and assessing the work done by the project team
- * Assist with troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
- * Maintaining a safe and clean work area
- * Participate in drawing reviews and markups as required.
- * Participate in HV switching and isolations if required.
- * Participate in the estimating to construction handover process.
- * Ensure materials used for the construction works comply with the site preferred equipment list.
- * Coordinate the going to site process for equipment, resources & documentation.
- * Liaise with client & contractor personnel to achieve an on time, within budget, positive outcome for the project.
- * Attend /facilitate Weekly / Monthly safety & progress meetings with clients & contractors.
- * Prepare & present progress reports to Clients & Managers as required.
- * Prepare a 1,2,3 swing lookahead in the project and ensure that the relevant resources, materials, and documents are available for future works.
- * Plan, implement & monitor site works & progress in relation to the schedule and identify available work fronts.
- * Order all the required equipment & consumables to ensure that the site has what it needs to complete the works.
- * Arrange transport & cranage for the receiving of plant & equipment on site.
- * Forward planning so as to utilise hire equipment in the most efficient & cost-effective way.
- * Provide clear instructions including drawings & specifications to the workers & contractors on the work to be done & explain the relevant Health & Safety Regulations & Acts, Client & Company obligations which must be adhered to.
- * Coordinate and participate in site testing and commissioning activities.
- * Be constructive in the resolution of problems within the job scope & implement any corrective actions.
- * Administration duties involving the usage of computer software (MS Project, Word, Excel, Adobe) Staff Rosters, organising hours of work and timesheets, accurate data entry, progress reporting, filing, archiving & scanning of documents & photos.
- * Maintain site registers eg: Electrical test & tag, ladder, lifting gear & SDS's.
- * Relay all relevant safety information to the workers through Pre-start meetings prior to work commencing each day.
- * Conduct regular toolbox talks with the project team.
- * Identify and report any noncompliance issues and possible improvement strategies.
