Job Description
Ensure all project and maintenance activity is implemented for the assigned area as per the Scope of Work, according to the manufacturers/suppliers recommendations, local legislation and the relevant Australian Standards whilst meeting budget.
- Provide on-site Technical Electrical Engineering Support to FM Operations teams as required.
- Working with Operations Technicians to facilitate HVAC Best practice standards by supervising and training FM team members as necessary.
- Monitor Maintenance and Inspection Plans, provides guidance and recommendations on Trends to support operations and Assets at the lowest practical cost.
- Monitor industry HVAC best principals for innovation and cost effectiveness and make necessary recommendations for application to the IFMS contract.
- Ensure that all personnel present on projects or within work areas have completed all site inductions, pre-employment briefings, on-the-job training and external training required to do their work, as well as possess the necessary licenses and certification.
- Implement standardized project process / procedures to ensure all works are completed on schedule, within budget.
- Ensure completion of site and contractor works are achieved in accordance with the planned schedule for the portfolio.
- Adopt preventive maintenance strategies to minimize the level of unscheduled events.
- Manage the execution of approved asset management plans and operational practices to provide reliable and predictable performance for the designated portfolio of assets.
- Monitor and manage all subcontracted services to ensure operational KPI's are achieved.
- Embed best practice implementation of works programs using lean principles
- Report all incidents, near hits, procedure deficiencies and poor working conditions to the immediate manager and HSEQ personnel.
- Ensure responses to unplanned events and emergencies are prompt and managed professionally, with issues resolved in line with risk allocations if practically possible and improvements, driven forward to prevent future issues.
- Proactively look for ways to assist and improve the business including processes and projects
- Participate in client meetings as required
- Carry out site inspections for new work and relay relevant information to the estimator for quoting
- Be proactive in following up techs and suppliers
Qualifications
- Experience in installation of commercial HVAC systems.
- Trade Licence (HVAC)
- ARCTick Licence
- Project Management experience
