As we continue to expand, we're seeking a passionate and experienced Hydraulic Hose Technician Trainer Assessor to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Hydraulic Hose Technician Trainer Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence and proficiency of our technicians in Hydraulic Hose assembly and maintenance. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive training programs that equip our technicians with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop training curriculum and materials tailored to the needs of Hydraulic Hose Technicians, covering topics such as hose assembly, installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-house and at client locations, focusing on practical skills development and theoretical understanding.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback mechanisms, continually refining and improving content and delivery methods.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess training conformance, identify areas for improvement, and provide valuable feedback to enhance performance and compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in hydraulic systems and convey this knowledge effectively to trainees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, and sales to ensure alignment of training initiatives with business objectives.
  • Ability to travel weekly to conduct training sessions at various locations across Australia.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
  • Proven 5+ years' experience as a Hydraulic Hose Technician or in a similar role within the hydraulic industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, and related components.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a technical field.
  • Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Salesforce programs, with the ability to create professional-quality documents and presentations.
  • Certifications such as AURTTA012 Fabricate & Install Fluid Power Hose Assemblies or equivalent are advantageous.
