Jenagar PTY LTD is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Agriculture / CAEM based Trainer. With a relevant background experience. Working online and via phone lessons with school-based children and adults working in necessary fields to achieve their goals. The role leads dynamic training programs aimed at enhancing the skills of school-based and workplace-based Leaners. Ensuring adherence to industry standards while assessing learner’s competency to drive ongoing improvement in animal production practices. Perform a range of Agriculture / Conservation and Ecosystem Management activities including, handling and transporting animals, implementing health and feeding programs, and maintaining property and structures such as fences and bores, raising/husbandry of beef cattle, sheep, other livestock, animal management services used for commercial agricultural (food and fiber) production and/or pest/disease management for these livestock animals, site restoration, rehabilitation and renewal and management of the rural and natural landscapes, degraded sites and marine environments. Be able to contribute to the preservation and maintenance of wildlife and their habitat in the natural ecosystem, parks and reserves. Activities frequently involve working with and preservation of indigenous culture and heritage resources.
Key Accountabilities:
- Guide Training & Enrolment: Assist students in choosing training options and navigating enrolment procedures with prerequisites.
- Audit Student Records: Conduct internal audits to ensure accurate and complete student files for data reliability.
- Deliver Training & Assess Placements: Lead engaging training sessions and assess student competence through placements for real-world readiness.
- Develop Skills & Knowledge: Enhance teaching expertise and knowledge through ongoing professional development.
- Travel for Training
- Prioritise Safety & Environment: Implement best practices for a safe learning environment and minimise environmental impact.
- Contribute to Validation & Resources: Validate programs and develop learning materials to enhance student experiences.
- Maintain Ethical Standards: Uphold high ethical standards in interactions with students and colleagues.
- Accommodate Diverse Learners: Adapt teaching approaches for diverse learning styles and ensure inclusivity.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge
- Teach and perform Indigenous land management based on government requirements
- Teach and perform Ecological restoration based on government requirements
- Teach and perform Land, parks and wildlife management based on government requirements
- Teach and perform Pest controller based on government requirements
- Teach and perform Conservation earthworks government requirements
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in both industries (essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, (essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Work (essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Current 'C' class Queensland driver's license. (essential)
- AHC31421- Certificate II & III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management
- AHC30116- Certificate II & III in Agriculture
- Full First Aid
- Full Chemical Course
- Blue Card (essential)
- Ability to adapt to diverse work environments.
- Strong skills in training, time management, prioritisation, and customer communication.
