Role Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Conduct service and maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
- Manage the installation and commissioning of hydraulic equipment and systems.
- Perform field tests, including pressure testing and equipment flushing.
- Select tools and equipment necessary for tasks and ensure their proper use.
- Liaise with customers, providing outstanding service and support.
- Manufacture new build mineral oil and water glycol hydraulic systems.
- Assemble and install mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, controls, and hydraulic power systems.
- Support Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in designing mechanical equipment and plants.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and QA systems.
- Maintain the highest quality standards and adhere to HSE policies and procedures.
Candidate Profile
We're looking for individuals who have:
- An Australian recognised Trade Certificate.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the hydraulics, oil & gas service industry.
- Deep knowledge of hydraulic principles and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
- Strong communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a keen sense of teamwork.
- Australian Residency and a valid Driver’s License.
