About the role:
We are looking for an experienced IBM Planning Analytics Developer with strong Power BI skills to design, develop, and implement solutions using both platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or business intelligence, coupled with technical expertise in IBM Planning Analytics and Power BI. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions across Planning Analytics and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IBM Planning Analytics models, cubes, dimensions, and rules according to business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Planning Analytics and Power BI models.
- Develop and optimize TM1 TurboIntegrator processes for data loading and transformation in Planning Analytics.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize data from various sources.
- Create and maintain documentation for both Planning Analytics and Power BI solutions, including system architecture, data models, and user guides.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for both IBM Planning Analytics and Power BI applications.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to IBM Planning Analytics, Power BI, and business intelligence.
We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in TM1 TurboIntegrator scripting language.
- Strong understanding of multidimensional database concepts and OLAP technologies.
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, report development, and DAX scripting (preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in IBM Planning Analytics, Power BI, or related technologies (optional but preferred).
