What role will you play?
You will be responsible for leading, developing, and delivering analytics/visualisation assets end to end, which includes stakeholder management, project management, hands-on data automation and developing/ upskilling team members as appropriate. Working directly with our business stakeholders, you will communicate the magic behind your solutions in both a technical and non-technical way. Day to day you will be using Python, Presto, Alteryx DataIku and PowerBI.
What you offer
- Minimum Bachelor's degree qualification in a quantitative and problem-solving discipline with strong academic performance – this may include Statistics, Engineering, Maths, Computer Science, Finance, Marketing or Economics
- 5+ years’ experience within an analytical function and data visualisation experience
- Experience individually leading data analytics projects/ developments and managing stakeholders
- Experience in two or more of the following domains:
- Data visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Data analysis tools such as SQL/Hive/Presto or Alteryx; scripting languages such as SQL, R, S-Plus, SAS or Python
- Data infrastructures and technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Pig or Spark
- Experience with scheduling and data automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively tailor communications to a diverse range of business and technical stakeholder groups
- Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and projects, including creating and managing detailed project plans
- Availability to work flexible hours to cater for interactions with stakeholders in different time zones.
