We are currently seeking an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Coordinator to join the team.

About the Role:

At the forefront of our IT infrastructure, this role will work closely with three key companies within our group.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to, ICT support and assistance for users in relation to software and hardware with local, telephone and remote support, the optimisation of file access systems and storage, mobile device management, networking and remote project connectivity. This dynamic role also offers unique opportunities to drive technological evolution across the organisation.

File Management

  • Oversee the configuration and security of file systems.
  • Ensure reliable and efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement backup and recovery solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Mobile Device Management (MDM)

  • Develop and enforce policies for mobile device usage and security.
  • Deploy and manage MDM solutions to streamline the administration of mobile devices.
  • Support end-users with mobile device setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay updated on the latest mobile technologies and security threats to ensure the company's mobile infrastructure remains robust.

ICT Support for Users

  • Provide comprehensive ICT support to all users across the three companies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
  • Help users understand and effectively utilise IT resources.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of IT support tickets, maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.
  • Implement and monitor user access controls and security protocols to protect sensitive information.

Hardware Sourcing and Setup

  • Identify and procure appropriate hardware to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Coordinate with vendors to secure the best deals and ensure timely delivery of hardware.
  • Set up and configure new hardware, including computers, servers, and peripheral devices.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on new hardware.

Evolution in Technology and Systems

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their potential benefits to the organisation.
  • Lead initiatives to upgrade and modernise existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their IT needs and implement solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Drive innovation by proposing and piloting new technologies and systems that align with the company's strategic goals.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams and Microsoft 365 essential.
  • Knowledge of Azure desired.
  • General knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose network and system faults including troubleshooting and telephone-based diagnostic skills.
  • Experience/knowledge/interest in network infrastructure roll-out.
  • Capable of supporting management teams in identifying hardware and software solutions to facilitate the Group business growth.
  • Valid Driver's Licence. 
  • Strong Work Ethic.
  • Great attention to detail and time management skills. 
  • Committed to safety, problem solving and working as part of a team.
