- Remuneration dependent on qualifications and experience + 11 % Employer superannuation
About the position
The ICT Support Officer will provide customer and technical support for hardware and software to YSAS staff across all sites, assist with delivery of ICT projects, maintain asset registers and provide staff training.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- The first point of contact for clients for ICT incidents and requests, to resolve or escalate clients' service problems. Strong client service delivery-focus with good time management skills and sound written and oral communication and liaison skills including with other internal teams and vendors.
- Possess sound analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to perform desktop, network and infrastructure troubleshooting by providing triage and diagnosis. Respond to complex requests with information to enable problem resolution.
- Ensure user access rights and privileges and operate logical access controls and security systems in accordance with agreed policy and standards.
- Follow agreed procedures to prioritise and diagnose incidents, answer questions, resolve incidents. Maintains records, including accurate assessing, classifying and prioritising tickets and advises relevant persons of action. Contribute to creation of support documentation.
- Informs users about processes and advises relevant persons of actions taken. Respond and resolve all incidents and requests within the specified service level agreements.
- Create and maintain support documentation to assist others in restoring services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages.
