Our QLD State Government client is looking for an ICT Officer to join their team to contribute to resolving complex technical requests and incidents received from staff and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also provide support to end users across applications, software, hardware, and infrastructure
Key responsibilities
Provide guidance and technical advice to ICT officers to problem solve and resolve requests and incidents.
Lead the development of operational policies, practices, and system documentation.
Investigate and lead the implementation of new technology systems, software, and line of business applications.
Maintains highly productive relationships with the business and external stakeholders and actively participates in decision-making at an organisational level.
Provides specialist advice and guidance to business, management, and other key stakeholders with regards to delivery, operation and use of ICT and information management and potential business benefits.
Participate in large complex technology projects ensuring that business benefits are realised.
Provides input to and implements standards and procedures for the achievement of good practice in the planning, delivery and operations of digital platforms, systems, information, and infrastructure within The Public Trustee.
Participate in the determination and implementation of solutions to complex, operational problems including the coordination of necessary vendor, technical and business parties.
Lead and actively participate in a team providing support for service delivery, projects and day-to-day operational activities as required.
Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.
While not mandatory relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent are highly desirable
Possession of a ‘C’ class driving license is highly desirable
Asset Management (ASMG) – Level 4
Service Level Management (SLMO) – Level 4
Availability Management (AVMT) – Level 4
Business process improvement (BPRE) – Level 4
Customer Service Management (CSMG) – Level 4
