ICT Procurement & Contracting Officer

Our client is seeking to engage an ICT Procurement & Contracting on a contract for 6 months, with 1 X 12 months extension option.
This role will assist internal staff with:seeking, obtaining and documenting internal approvals;development of requirements for RFQ;upload of requirements, and download of responses, within BuyICT Marketplaces;coordinate final documentation for executionentry of contract detail into the finance system (TechnologyOne)assist in ongoing contract management and invoice processing. This resource will:Assist staff in the effective use of the procurement and contract management processes;Be the escalation for invoicing, contract and procurement issues;Ensure all process documents are kept up to date, maintained by the team and stored in a central document repository (i
Manage)Analyse and use internal data to inform processes to promote the efficient and effective handling of procurement requestsDevelop and maintain key relationships with internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external vendors to continue to shape the overall delivery of servicesEssential criteria:Knowledge and experience with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).Ability to effectively manage competing priorities.Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
