About the role:
We are currently seeking an experience ICT Project Managers to join our growing team. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful project delivery of complex business transformation and cyber security projects aligned to an established roadmap and project management methodology. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing project plans, managing the risk, quality and progress of this project to organisational standards, and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope. There will be client consultation with various business teams which will require excellent communication skills and the ability to work across diverse groups and their requirements. This role is an amazing opportunity to share your expertise in driving business transformation projects.
In this Position you will:
- Manage all aspects of project planning and implementation of technology and cyber security projects in line with established technology roadmap and project management methodology
- Develop project plans and related activities, coordinate resources and vendors, maintain budgets and reporting requirements to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope
- Manage all aspects of technology changes, including risk and contingency management based on ITIL standards
- Manage and deliver regular executive level status reporting on project milestones, risks, issues, mitigations, constraints, dependencies, budgets and schedules
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in an IT, Cyber Security, Computer Sciences, or similar discipline,
- Certifications in project management such as PMP, Prince2 are preferred
- At least 4 years’ experience in managing high value, multi-year technology modernisation/transformation/Cyber Security projects
- Experience managing scope, resources, schedule and expectations on projects in a complex technology environment
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; including the ability to think innovatively for mitigating complex issues and risks
- Capable of influencing and negotiating desired outcomes with various stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy through all hierarchal levels of an organisation
- Experience in managing customer relations and liaising effectively with external suppliers and service providers
