About Us: Farley Riggs is a 2nd generation family-owned resource equipment supply & maintenance company based in Adelaide, South Australia. Our small team manages an extensive and diverse equipment fleet of over 8,000 items that are provided to the upstream energy sector both domestically and offshore. We focus on pressure equipment (iron, valves, hoses, pumps, vessels, etc.) but also supply other equipment including (but not limited to) offices, light vehicles, lighting plants, and telehandlers. Additionally, we offer downhole packer testing equipment for both water and hydrocarbon industries. Maintenance for all assets is conducted at our Adelaide facility, a service we also offer to the wider market.
With an increase in project quantity & scale we're looking for a Project Manager to joint our team.
Position:Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with partners to ensure best-in-class planning, supply, and execution for projects.
- Manage and plan equipment for both above and below-ground projects, onshore and offshore.
- Oversee the coordination and logistics of equipment supply and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare and present project plans, schedules, and reports.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all project activities.
- Drive business development efforts (in conjunction with BD team) to expand our client base and market reach.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including preparing proposals and negotiating contracts.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure equipment availability, suitability, and adherence to timelines.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to other team members as needed to ensure the growth of all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the upstream energy sector.
- Strong sales skills and the ability to maintain and grow client relationships.
- Experience with well testing and equipment maintenance is highly advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
