SalaryExciting opportunity for an ICT Project Manager to support and deliver digital streams under a tech infrastructure and resiliency program for a high-profile government department.
This is an initial contract of 12 months, with likelihood to extend.
Hybrid work set up (Haymarket and WFH)
Rate is up to $900 per day + super.
About the Job:
- Drive and manage project objectives to be delivered in support of the program
- Coordinate the delivery of the defined project activities within prescribed parameters and agreed budget
- Monitor and report on site implementations and ensure that progress meets target dates
- Collate and communicate Project delivery schedule to Program Manager and ensure key milestones and target dates are met
- Deal with a range of very complex issues across a diverse stakeholder environment to drive technology outcomes that contribute to business objectives within tight time frames
- Conduct continuous risk mitigation to ensure program deliverables are not at risk
- Provide clear reporting on the project deliverables and financial tracking
- Ensure that complex technical problems and blockers are analysed, communicated in straightforward terms and forward-looking resolutions proposed
- Create communication materials that are clear, concise and simple to articulate to multiple stakeholders across the organisation including Executive management.
About You:
- Telecommunications and digital infrastructure background highly preferred
- At least 5 years' experience in project management
- Proven track record of delivering complex ICT and digital projects for large organisations
- PMP, Prince2 or Agile Certifications
- Authenticity, demonstrates genuineness with others
- Government experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including clients, peers, colleagues and senior management
