Role Overview
Position: ICT Support Technician
Salary: $75,000 per annum + superannuation
Location: Cheltenham, Victoria, 3192
LOLC AT is seeking a full-time ICT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the ICT requirements and infrastructure essential to support our research and development activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge research environment and be part of a team driving technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
Determine software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to technological challenges faced by a newly established company.
Respond to inquiries and provide timely support for software and hardware issues, ensuring minimal disruption to company activities.
Adapt and customise programs to meet the specific needs of LOLC AT’s research team and administrative staff.
Install and configure appropriate software to optimise the performance of internal systems.
Implement and manage robust computer networks to support collaboration and data sharing.
Design and maintain the company website, ensuring it effectively communicates our mission and achievements.
Repair and replace peripheral equipment (e.g., terminals, printers, and modems) to maintain operational efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum diploma or advanced diploma in ICT or closely related field and two years’ relevant experience
At least five years’ of highly relevant experience may substitute for formal qualification
Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of ICT systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
