We provide support and clinical care to people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroimmunological conditions. We also have a strong research focus, conducting a number of clinical trials. We have an international reputation for excellence and expertise in clinical care and in the conduct of quality clinical research. This is a small, warm, friendly and collaborative group who will support and mentor the new team member.
About the roleThe
Immunotherapy and Research Nurse contributes to both areas of our service, clinical
and Research. This role provides education, counselling, support and clinical care for people with MS, assisting them from time of diagnosis over the long term. The role also requires some involvement in clinical trials, as N-CRESS actively participates in and contributes to research aimed at improving the understanding and treatment of neurological conditions including MS. Mentoring and education will be provided to the successful candidate to help them develop knowledge about MS, neuroimmunology and clinical trials.MS Nurses provide life-changing care to people diagnosed with MS. You can make a difference.A regular day will see you:
- Provide counselling, education and support to people with neuroimmunological conditions
- Support logistical aspects of patients being treated on Disease Modifying Therapies
- Assist in the coordination and ethical management of clinical trials
