About Our Paediatric Oncology Services at Monash Health

The Children’s Cancer Centre, is located within Monash Children’s Hospital, and aims to provide exemplary care for our paediatric oncology cohort. The clinical trials team within the centre focuses on providing these patients with a broad range of treatment options through a variety of domestic and international clinical trials and research projects. The Children’s Cancer Centre is involved in a diverse range of research, including; randomised controlled trials, patient registries, biological studies and an established biobank.

About The Role

We are excited to recruit into a Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) position within the Children’s Cancer Centre.

In these newly created research positions, the CRN will work closely with the Clinical Research Associates, Lead Clinical Trial Coordinator, and ward staff, to ensure the provision of state of the art medicine through the Precision Medicine for Every Child with Cancer program. The CRN will play an integral role in participant management, ensuring the rigorous collection and reporting of data and samples.

This is a 0.5 FTE, fixed term position ending 30 September, 2024.

What you need:

• Relevant nursing qualifications and registration
• Demonstrated experience in Clinical Research
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)/ICH Guidelines, with current GCP qualification
• Australian working rights
