YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
The Parkville Cancer Clinical Trials Unit (PCCTU) co-ordinates Clinical Trials across the 3 institutions of the Parkville Medical precinct: Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Womens' Hospital. We are the largest oncology trials unit in Australia with an exciting and expanding trials portfolio. We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our MoncC team who care for Melanoma, Head and Neck, Upper GI and Skin cancer trials and patients. It is a large dynamic team with lots of opportunities for growth and development. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. The position is full time and a fixed term for 2 years with the potential for permanency post that time. Oncology experience and /or Clinical Trials experience would be a bonus. Training and mentoring are provided. Classification and salary will depend on the level of experience in Clinical Trials commencing at Research NurseLevel 1 (grade 2) for a nurse with no research experience. Classification as a Research Nurse Level 2 or level 3 will be considered in line with the conditions in the EBA and prior experience.
