About the Opportunity
You will play a critical role in the delivery of the Riverland Wine Industry Blueprint Implementation Plan that will drive the ongoing development and success of the region.
In this coordination role, you will be front and centre in ensuring that all outcomes of the Blueprint are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project coordination such as monitoring and tracking outcomes against the implementation plan
- Coordinating all administrative tasks relating to the plan including attending to invoicing and reconciliation
- Organising, attending, and minuting both stakeholder and Board meetings
- Stakeholder engagement including liaising with stakeholders such as winemakers, grape growers, Government, and other industry groups
- Reporting to Government stakeholders and the Riverland Wine Board
About You
You will be an experienced administrator and coordinator, skilled at managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Highly organised, flexible and you are known for your quality work and high standards. You are an outstanding communicator and have highly professional business writing skills.
Relevant industry experience is not important, but more so your enthusiastic approach and willingness to tackle anything that needs to be done. You may have honed these skills in a small business, or might simply revel in a multifaceted role.
You will have;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Driver's licence and access to own vehicle
This role is located in the Riverland so you must be residing in the region currently or be prepared to move there.
Previous experience of writing grant applications is desirable, as is knowledge of Xero
This position is offered on a 2 year contract tied to funding.

Riverland Wine is the face of the Riverland wine industry and proudly represents 1000+ South Australian Riverland winemakers and wine grape growers. The Riverland is home to some of Australia’s most revolutionary wine production, from both large and small producers and from 100+ wine grape varieties and areas of old vines. Second only to the Barossa Valley in terms of the value of winegrape crush, the region produces 34% of Australia’s grapes and 14% of Australia’s crush by value. As a region, it is critically important to the Australian wine industry.
For the past 18 months, Riverland Wine has worked with industry partners, including the South Australian Government, Wine Australia and, the Wine Grape Council of South Australia in the development of the Riverland Wine Industry Blueprint which addresses the short – long-term challenges of the Riverland.
Collaboration is essential and Riverland Wine is working with their industry partners to implement the Blueprint and focus on immediate actions.
