Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookings, schedules, changes, and rate negotiations.
- Collaborate with shipping lines, suppliers, and transport services for timely shipments.
- Maintain relationships with Regional and Local teams.
- Communicate shipment requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate documentation for timely and accurate Customs clearance.
- Ensure visibility of incoming shipments.
- Provide accurate documentation for ACS and government requirements.
- Measure and report on freight performance, identify trends and implement cost-saving actions.
- Assist with transport budget and month-end financial requirements.
- Manage freight forwarders and Customs brokers, verify billing, and process payments.
- Support inbound freight cost management and analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with freight forwarders, international trade, transport, and logistics.
- Knowledge of import and export procedures, especially for healthcare products.
- Experience in Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or medical devices is a plus.
- Experience with financial reporting related to international freight.
- Familiarity with transport management and ERP systems.
- Understanding of importation within ANZ, including BMSB, permits, and BICON.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, adaptable to new technology, and proficient in MS Excel.
