Form of workJade McIntosh Flowers & Styling is seeking a warm, organised, and proactive in-house administrative assistant to jump into our crazy world of weddings and provide general support. This is a part-time role with flexible hours, meaning you are guaranteed a healthy work-life balance (and lots of laughs at our cosy, floral-filled studio in Carrington!).
A little bit about us – We are a busy and tight-knit team with a not-so-secret obsession with chai tea and dogs. Our style is whimsical and modern, and our lovely couples are the central focus of what we do.
A little bit about you – Friendly, personable, positive, and authentic. We’re hoping you’re also a natural problem-solver who can take initiative and work independently. Bonus points if you’re social-media savvy and great with automated email software too!
A little bit about the role – It will be varied and impactful, with 10-12 anticipated hours per week to be spread across Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Your duties could include placing orders for flowers, signage and transport as needed, following up and seeking feedback on unanswered event proposals, monitoring and responding to email enquiries, liaising with other vendors and external suppliers, and using existing systems (Flodesk and Curate) to initiate, organise, update, and manage customer communications.
