We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Legal Counsel with property, corporate and commercial experience to join our growing Compliance team in Sydney. This hybrid role is based out of our Bondi Beach office and, as a valued member of the team, you will support the organisation in the management and resolution of a broad range of legal, regulatory and property acquisition processes.

About you:
- Proven experience in a medium to large private business.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Current unrestricted Australian Legal Practising Certificate.
- Ability to communicate clearly and be assertive while still professional.
- Ability to problem solve.

About the role:
- Facilitate property acquisitions.
- Oversee our legal compliance.
- Provide expert legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and manage relationships with external legal advisors.
- Manage and resolve disputes with minimal impact on the organisation.
- Negotiating, drafting and review of commercial contracts.
- Support overseas legal requirements when required.
- Carryout reviews and make recommendations to decision makers.
