The Client
An opportunity has emerged within a large national organisation in the Health & Care sector. Our client is in an exciting growth phase an seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join their busy legal team. This purpose driven organisation prides themselves on their internal culture and working collaboratively, without ego.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, your role will see you play a crucial role in the growth and development of this organisation. With a strategic mindset, you will be advising the ANZ Corporate Team on a variety of legal issues. Your duties will include:
- risk identification and management advice;
- providing advice on corporate governance issues;
- franchise advice and negotiations;
- leading negotiations with external stakeholders and suppliers;
- establishing corporate governance framework and policies;
- implementation of internal audit and compliance processes;
- drafting legal documents; and
- supervision of junior team members.
About You
- 4 - 8 Years PQE;
- Solid corporate M&A, commercial and franchise experience either in private practice or in-house;
- Analytical skills, able to identify legal conflict and risk;
- Knowledge of Health and Aged Care Industry desirable;
- Strong ability to communicate effectively;
- Effectively able to manage and prioritise workload to meet competing deadlines; and
- Excellent team player.
