The Role
This is a 6 Month Maternity Leave contract seeking an immediate start. Your responsibilities include:
- Reviewing civil contracts - infrastructure and urban and drafting departures;
- Negotiating departures to subcontract agreements - major / minor/consultancy / material supply / consultancy agreement;
- Drafting letters for notices under contracts e.g. variations, notices of delay; and
- Reviewing vendor credit application terms and conditions and drafting and negotiating departures.
About You
The ideal candidates will be commercially astute and have a minimum of 4 years PAE with proven experience in commercial contracts management and negotiation. In addition, you will also possess the following:
- Construction Experience will be highly regarded and preferred;
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively;
- Ability to confidently present messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate persuasively with stakeholders and advise clients and senior management on procurement planning, sourcing and contract management strategies; and
- Motivated, pro-active and self-managing.
