About Your Opportunity
As an Incident and Security Advisor, you will provide advice in the processes, systems, and tools underpinning Seqwater’s emergency management capability. This includes training and testing of Seqwater’s ability to respond to incidents and emergencies, providing advice on review of emergency response and business continuity plans, and contributing to a sustainable lesson’s management program. Additionally, you will assist in protecting Seqwater’s critical infrastructure through the investigation of security incidents and providing advice to internal stakeholders on the application of Seqwater’s security standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, consistent, and courteous advice by telephone, email and intranet in line with Seqwater procedures and standards.
- Provide verbal briefings to managers and executives.
- Identify, Interpret, and communicate technical operational data for bulk water production and distribution, dam operations, and catchment management assets.
- Identify and manage stakeholder needs via effective questioning, negotiation, and conflict management.
- Apply problem solving and analytical skills to maintain and improve stakeholder service standards.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a related or equivalent role.
- Diploma in Emergency Management, and relevant experience in emergency/crisis management, risk management, disaster management, business continuity or a related discipline is highly regarded.
- Experience and ability to deliver messages to culturally diverse groups.
- Experience in preparing written communication including executive management level reports.
- Experience in workplace investigations.
- Experience in dealing with Government Agencies.
This position has a salary range of $90,757 - $101,191 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.
