Form of workHunter Mobile Preschool is a not-for-profit, community based service that has been providing preschool education to children in rural and remote areas since 1979.
We are seeking an experienced Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educator who has experience working with children who have additional needs to provide support as an Inclusion Support Educator.
The role is temporary part-time (school term time only) Mondays and Tuesdays at East Cessnock 9.15am to 2.45pm. This role is to begin term 1 2024 and is expected to finish on 13 December 2024.
To be considered for this role you must be energetic, patient, have the ability to redirect effectively and manage challenging behaviour independently and be passionate about working with children who have additional needs.
The successful applicants will meet the following selection criteria:
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification
- A current Working with Children Check (employee)
- Current first aid training
- Proven Educator experience within an Early Childhood Service (working with children 3-5 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with children with additional needs
Employment conditions will be according to the NES and Children’s Services Award – temporary, part time, term time.
