Bible Society Australia (BSA) is offering an opportunity for a person who is passionate about championing the Bible. We are seeking a Full-Time Indigenous Relations and Support Coordinatorto share and promote the Bible with Indigenous Australians in Darwin and remote rural Northern Territory communities.
Permanent Full-Time role (1.0 FTE) |Based in Darwin, NT
This could be your opportunity to -
- Connect with Aboriginal Christian Leaders and their communities
- Work with BSA Missions partners, including the Australian Society for Indigenous Language (AuSIL), Wycliffe Bible Translators and various churches in the Northern Territory
- Produce, market and distribute BSA scripture resources within the Indigenous community.
- Provide logistical and translation support, through training and facilitating workshops
- Design new strategies to engage the bible with the Indigenous community

About you:
- Passionate about the Bible and its engagement with the Indigenous community
- Proven ability to thrive in cross-cultural environments
- Skilled in remote stakeholder management
- Experience within Church ministry environments
- Effective communicator with strong relationship building skills
- Ability to triage and prioritise important tasks with excellent time management skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft office programs and social media applications
- A self-motivated networker, capable of working autonomously
