Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A recognised teaching degree or qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching at the secondary level, with a preference for candidates familiar with the South Australian Ceriticate of Education (SACE) educational landscape.
- Current Ochre Card (Working with Children Card in Northern Territory).
- Current TRB registration.
- Australian citizen or resident.
Desirable Criteria:
- Post Graduate Masters in Special/Inclusive Education
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all students with additional needs have up-to-date and accurate Inspire documentation (Initial Adjustments, SAPIs, EAPs, Refer for Services, Funding Requests).
- Work with all teaching staff to support Inspire document completion, including the training of new staff to the College.
- Provide information to all staff and parents/guardians about the NCCD collection.
- Complete and sign off of the final NCCD collection data in consultation with the Principal and respond to any auditing process that may result from it.
- Work together with Head of School, Office Manager and communicating with relevant staff from previous school/s to facilitate thorough Transition programs for all new students at all year levels.
