All of our output is underpinned by our highly performing rostering team. We are looking for an Ambulance Support Coordinator to join our team in Darwin. You will be an essential part of a busy team; this high-level role will give you a lot of variety where no two days are the same.
The Role:
Currently reporting to the Territory Response Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:
· Rostering of Ambulance Operational Staff in regions and across the NT
· Roster planning and resource allocation, including long-term roster development
· Operational support with rostering of short-term shift coverage
· Administration support for major events, major incidents, and disasters
· External client relations for information requests
· Administrative support for Ambulance regional management
The Person:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a positive, can-do attitude to complement an already well performing team. You will be a dynamic, quick-thinking professional with strong communication skills. The successful applicant will have administrative skills with relevant experience to deliver effective roster planning and resource management. In addition, you will be proactive, solutions-focused, a team player and have the ability to develop functioning workplace relationships. Ideally, the successful applicant will have the following:
· Understanding or ability to learn rostering processes and systems in a shift work environment
· Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
· Sound knowledge of legislation, awards, policies, and procedures relevant to rostering management
· Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, databases, and computer software packages.
