Indoor Plant Hire Service Technician

2 Positions Available

Plantscape Interiors service plants in offices, malls and function centres throughout the Adelaide region.

With an expanding work load we require another team member to join our company on a long term stable basis.

The offer is for 3-4  days per week. On top of the guaranteed 3-4 days we need applicants who are able to fill in as required to cover staff holidays or staff absences due to illness etc. In regard to covering holidays, there is usually ample notification given for those filling in. Staff off at short notice due to illness etc can be covered by the new Technician with back up from existing staff doing 5 days per week if the notice is too short.

The position suits those who are wanting a top up to a household budget; not as a main income.

You don’t need any formal qualifications in horticulture, just a good work ethic, a positive outlook, and some common sense. 

Full training and uniform top are supplied . You will need black pants or shorts and black leather upper shoes.

All new employees are buddied up until such time as they are assessed and confirmed capable enough to work on their own – this can take in excess of  6 months 

Successful applicants will be given a one month trial probationary period.

We require the following prerequisites :

• Well spoken and able to interact with clients
•  Well presented for a corporate environment
• Hold a current drivers license and MUST be able to drive a manual van
• Fit and able as the work involves bending, lifting and carrying
• Punctual and common sense
• No previous horticultural experience is necessary
• Flu Vaccination
• Up to date Police Clearance
• Covid Vaccination may be required but this will depend on service rounds

Interviews will be conducted daily between 7:45am - 9.00am - No Appointment required - just come in
