About the Opportunity

Berg Engineering is looking for a full-timeIndustrial Sales Representative based in Brisbane, QLD to take on an exciting and pivotal new role.

This role is integral to the team, reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, and is responsible for creating new customer accounts, managing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating new customer accounts and Request for Quotations (RFQs) in collaboration with the technical services team
  • Complying with Quality, Safety, and Environmental requirements
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders and identifying solutions for customer pain points
  • Managing and participating in the setting of annual sales budgets and targets
  • Leading the tender compilation, review, and submission process
  • Conducting post-project delivery customer follow-ups
  • Executing leads generated by other sources, such as BD and Marketing
  • Positioning technical personnel to provide credibility and Assistance to customers
  • Maintaining Salesforce database accuracy
  • Participating in the continual improvement of Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems
About You 

To qualify, you will need a Trade certificate or an Engineering related qualification. Prior experience in sales will be held in high regard, as will a qualification in fitting and machining. 

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience with Salesforce database management
  • Ability to comply with Quality, Safety, and Environmental requirements
  • Experience in managing and participating in the setting of annual sales budgets and targets
  • Proficiency in leading tender compile, review, and submission processes
  • Skilled in building relationships with key stakeholders and identifying solutions for customer pain points
