About the Role
This position is based in Brisbane and reports to the Head of Operations.
Leading the manufacturing team to achieve its objectives, the Production Manager is responsible for the planning and delivery of all stages to ensure processes and procedures are followed.
About You
This role is ideal for someone experienced in production management involving cGMP in cleanroom/sterile environments.
Essential:
- Specialised knowledge in GMP and high-throughput manufacturing
- Advanced expertise in multiple disciplines across site (e.g., Upstream processing, Downstream processing, QC, QA).
- Strong GMP operational experience and presence with exposure to working in both commercial and clinical manufacturing-regulated environments.
- Demonstrated experience working in a matrix-like environment with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Ability to lead complex issue resolution and lead both regulatory and client audit-facing responsibilities
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, ie. Food, Biopharma, Biotechnology.
- Lean manufacturing/ Six Sigma background
- Tertiary qualifications in Science or related discipline
