This position will contribute to the operational objectives of the Fleet Services function by providing administration support to the Manager Fleet Services and other Fleet Services staff. Additionally, the position will provide limited administrative support to other Infrastructure Services staff as requested to contribute to the efficient operation of the Directorate.
Employment Status: Full time Limited Tenure - up to twelve (12) months
Award: Level 2 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award – State 2017
Salary Range: $67,766 to $72,127 per annum.
ABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will have:
| Essential Knowledge, skills and abilities |- Well-developed clerical, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage, determine work priorities, meet deadlines and workflows, utilising a high level of initiative.
- Advanced computer literacy with the ability to utilise finance, records management system and Microsoft Office suite, particularly word and excel.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including a high level of verbal and written communication ability, and the ability to liaise and negotiate with a wide range of people.
- Ability to exercise judgement and initiative where procedures are not clearly defined.
- Certificate III Business (or similar) or relevant experience.
- Possession and maintenance of a current Queensland “C” Class Driver Licence.
