AddressThe role of the Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Coordinator to provide oversight, consultation and to implement the organisation wide Infection Prevention and Control Program, to ensure the facilitation of a safe environment and service for patients, staff, visitors, volunteers and the community.
This will be achieved by the ensuring the relevant national and state standards and guidelines are adhered to by the organisation.
The position encompasses responsibility for all aspects of infection control and prevention the organisation with the support of the YDMH Infection Prevention & Control Resource Nurse.
The position supervises and supports the YDMH Infection Prevention & Control Resource Nurse.
