Shape a strong compliance culture across the University! Proactively advise stakeholders, navigate legislation, and empower a culture of ethical and compliant practices. Utilise your expertise to collaborate, inform, monitor, and mitigate risk - all in support of the University's success.Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing best practices and ensure alignment with key compliance obligations. Conduct regular reviews to identify changes in legislation and engage stakeholders.
- Building a network of "compliance champions" and collaborate to develop action plans.
- Providing guidance on compliance requirements to stakeholders whilst developing reports and contributing to compliance and risk activities to support implementation of the compliance management system.
We seek a compliance professional with top communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, fosters collaboration, takes initiative to identify and navigate applicable legislation and deliver exceptional service.You will also have:
- A relevant tertiary degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Significant experience and knowledge of risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks and experience using GRC software.
- Experience with coordinating projects involving a diverse range of stakeholders and critical deadlines.
- Experience with interpreting and applying a wide range of legislation and obligations.
