Position Overview
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, assess existing infrastructure, and develop scalable solutions that meet current and future needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess infrastructure needs, and develop comprehensive design proposals.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure security, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
- Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and configuration management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
