About Our ClientThe role manages the end user service experience for the business and is a central point to manage enterprise software licensing, technology vendor management, infrastructure, hosting and networks.
Job Description- End User Service Experience - Manage and continually optimise, ensuring a positive experience throughout the user lifecycle including efficient resolution of technical issues and timely support for all technology-related inquiries.
- IT Operations & Infrastructure Management - Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure (On-Prem & Cloud, End User -> Network -> DC). Monitor system performance, scalability, security, and integrations.
- Network Management - Monitor and manage the company's networks to ensure connectivity, performance, and security, including LAN, WAN, and internet connections.
- Licensing & cost management - Ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness, while also identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Vendor Management - Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including an outsourced managed services provider, to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and support.
- Team Management - Supervise a small team of technology professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Cyber Security, Compliance & Resilience - Ensure appropriate practices and controls are in place to ensure ongoing protection, compliance and availability of technology assets & data.
The Successful Applicant- Minimum of 5+ years in a team leader or manager capacity of a technology team
- Background in FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain or related industries.
- Knowledge and practical capabilities of a Microsoft Modern Workplace (Hybrid) environment including advanced application of the M365 & Azure platforms.
- Broad knowledge and experience of cyber governance and incident management.
- Able to demonstrate a broad general knowledge and use of common enterprise technologies, software & concepts including significant experience of service delivery/management.
- Proven ability to think strategically and develop and implement technology strategies to support business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
