Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 470 people with an additional 1,600 contractors working on our assets.
AGIG is leading the way for the Australian renewable gas sector, and are committed to sustainable gas delivery today, and tomorrow. Our low carbon vision, targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.
About the Opportunity
As the SAP Functional Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all operational functional support and continuous enhancement of our SAP S/4HANA system. You will lead a team of functional analysts in supporting, implementing, and optimizing SAP solutions across Finance, Project Systems, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Asset Management modules. Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating SAP with SuccessFactors and Maximo to meet AGIG's business needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of SAP functional analysts, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure successful support, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions.
- Oversee the Applications Managed Service Provider for the operation of the SAP environment, ensuring system availability and performance.
- Manage the integration of SAP S/4HANA with SuccessFactors and Maximo, as well as other third-party solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement to optimize SAP processes, enhance system performance, and increase user productivity.
- Collaborate with and support internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely proposals and SAP advisory for the support and enhancement of the SAP application solutions landscape.
- Develop and maintain SAP functional best practices, standards, and guidelines for AGIG.
- Provide input to the ongoing project delivery process to ensure compliance with functional best practices, standards, guidelines, and non-functional requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert and escalate issues as needed to resolve functional challenges and achieve timely support and enhancement.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions and enhancements for AGIG.
About You
- Proven track record of leading successful SAP teams and/or projects in a complex environment.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP functional consulting or management roles.
- Strong proficiency in SAP modules such as S/4HANA Finance, Project Systems, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Asset Management, with hands-on experience in configuration, enhancement, and implementation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a focus on delivering business-driven SAP solutions.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAP certification is a plus.
- Experience working in the energy or infrastructure sector is highly desirable.
- Experience in ServiceNow for the administration and reporting od support tickets desirable.
