Description
People:
- Provide Injury Management support by attending appointments, developing return-to-work plans, completing paperwork, maintaining contact with injured employees, and managing data entry.
- Ensure compliance with Workers' Compensation guidelines.
- Manage claims proactively to minimise lost time.
- Handle business risks in complex injury cases.
- Advise on investigations and liaise with relevant bodies.
- Guide Adecco staff on Injury Management policies and procedures.
Financial:
- Adopt proactive Injury Management to reduce lost time and claim severity.
- Collaborate with insurers to minimise claim costs.
- Ensure accurate weekly benefit calculations.
- Highlight the value of a supportive return-to-work environment internally.
Customer:
- Support Injury Management with Adecco's customers.
- Ensure suitable duties for injured workers on customer sites.
- Coach managers to maintain a safe work environment.
- Improve client and associate experiences.
- Manage claims efficiently with insurers.
- Report on fitness for work and injury statistics.
Quality:
- Ensure compliance with Adecco's Injury Management programs.
- Stay updated on Injury Management practices and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate records using the SOLV system.
- Promote a culture of compliance and accountability.
- Meet legislative deadlines and insurer requirements.
- Manage WHS Incident Reports data entry.
Profile
The ideal candidate must possess these qualities:
- RTW coordination certificate - Essential
- Relevant industry certification or higher (eg Cert IV in personal injury Management, Cert IV in WHS) - Essential
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in Injury Management including return to work and claim management
- Expert knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislation/guidelines
- Understanding of other states would be advantageous.
- Allied health degree (occupational therapy, rehabilitation counselling, exercise physiology, nursing) -Desirable
Candidates must also possess:

- Strong negotiation, influencing & diplomatic skills
