What is the role 

  • Act as a primary point of contact for “Minor Accounts”, addressing inquiries and providing assistance via phone, email, or in-person communication
  • Preparing quotations, facilitating renewals for licencing and agreements were required. 
  • Conduct regular outreach via phone, emails, virtual or onsite meetings to maintain engagement with customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments (such as customer support and product teams) to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell New Era additional products or services.
  • Partnering with Account Executives to drive account conversions to the Major accounts team
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products/services, pricing, and promotions to effectively address client inquiries. 
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, logistics, and product management to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
  • Providing regular reports and commentary on pipeline opportunities to grow and expand the customer base. 
  • Engage with Vendors in consultation with management to optimise the pricing and gross margin on the sole opportunities. 
  • Maintaining client account and relationship records in the appropriate system
  • Ensuring all sales reports and account plans are maintained and up to date
  • Maintaining proactive and regular communication with all key stakeholders
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments and competitive landscape.
  • Other related duties as required

Who we are looking for

  • Someone who has proven sales experience with a track record of managing accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Experience with upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Goal- oriented with a focus on delivering results.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft suites.
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field is desirable
  • Experience with PSA tools is desirable but not required
